My life's "Fight Song"

FB logo

Hello, my name is Timothy Meinecke and I am running for 3rd Ward City Councilman. I was born in Trenton and grew up on a small farm a few miles outside of town. After graduating high school, I enlisted in the United States Navy and served two years of active duty, followed by six years in the reserves. After the Navy I returned to the Trenton area and have worked in the following areas:

  • Current: Licensed Missouri Wastewater Operator working as onsite contractor at Nestle
  • Missouri Department of Corrections: Stationary Engineer
  • ConAgra: Boilers and Wastewater
  • Premium Standard Farms: Truck Wash Lead Man
  • Modine Manufacturing: Production Worker
  • General Construction: Framing, Sheetrock, Roofing, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.

Having lived and worked in Trenton and the surrounding areas most of my life I, like most of you, was content to mind my own business, strive to live the American Dream, and leave it to others to operate the levers of government.

The events of the past few years have been a real wake-up call: inflation, pandemics, sketchy election integrity....suddenly it started to feel like some nefarious over-reaching tentacles had made their way into our community. We awakened in a daze and wondered how our small town tranquility had sometimes started to feel like living in the belly of the beast. These events have given rise to a conservative state of "wokeness" and never has it been more urgent that each of us be more politically aware and involved, from the federal level all the way down to our humble small town entities like city councils and school boards.

As a member of the City Council, you will always be able to count on me to be a liaison for your concerns to the applicable personnel and/or departments. I will always be "all in" for personal liberties and freedom, fewer taxes, maximum pay for our law enforcement and any efforts that may arise to bring more jobs and businesses to our community.

I enjoy the outdoors, woodworking, alternative software (Linux and GrapheneOS). I voted for Trump both times that he won. My pronouns are Jesus/Saves and Trump/Won. If you feel that I would represent small town values that are important to you, please consider voting for me on April 4th, 2023. Thank you.
